Wingstop can work on keto if you order classic bone-in wings in a dry rub or hot sauce flavor, add celery and count the dip. The two items that cause trouble are boneless wings and chicken tenders, which are breaded and carry 6g or more carbs per piece. Sweet flavors such as Mango Habanero and Hickory Smoked BBQ also add up quickly once you multiply by the number of wings.
All figures below come from the Wingstop nutritional guide PDF linked from the chain’s nutrition page, retrieved October 4, 2026. Values are per single wing unless noted.
Classic, boneless and tenders are different foods
| Item (Plain flavor) | Calories | Carbs | Fiber | Protein |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Classic bone-in wing, 1 | 90 | 0g | 0g | 10g |
| Boneless wing, 1 | 80 | 6g | 0g | 4g |
| Chicken tender, 1 | 140 | 10g | 0g | 10g |
A classic wing is chicken wing with sauce or rub. Boneless wings and tenders are breaded pieces of chicken, so the coating brings carbs, and the boneless pieces carry less protein each. When you order, say “classic” or “bone-in” clearly. On apps, check that the item name does not say boneless.
Classic wing flavors by carbs per wing
| Flavor | Calories | Carbs | Protein | Carbs in 10 wings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plain | 90 | 0g | 10g | 0g listed |
| Original Hot | 90 | 0g | 10g | 0g listed |
| Cajun | 90 | 0g | 10g | 0g listed |
| Lemon Pepper | 120 | 0g | 10g | 0g listed |
| Louisiana Rub | 110 | 0g | 10g | 0g listed |
| Mild | 120 | 0g | 10g | 0g listed |
| Garlic Parmesan | 120 | 1g | 10g | 10g |
| Atomic | 90 | 1g | 10g | 10g |
| Hot Honey Rub | 120 | 2g | 10g | 20g |
| Hawaiian | 100 | 3g | 10g | 30g |
| Spicy Korean Q | 100 | 3g | 10g | 30g |
| Mango Habanero | 100 | 4g | 10g | 40g |
| Hickory Smoked BBQ | 100 | 4g | 10g | 40g |
None of the classic flavors list fiber, so carbs and net carbs are the same here. The per-wing values are already rounded. Do not round them down again when you multiply, and treat the “0g listed” rows as very low rather than zero.
Count the dip and the sides
| Side (full serving) | Calories | Carbs | Fiber | Protein |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ranch dip, 3.25 oz cup | 320 | 2g | 0g | 1g |
| Blue cheese dip, 3.25 oz cup | 330 | 4g | 0g | 4g |
| Celery, 5 sticks | 10 | 1.5g | 1g | 1g |
One ranch cup has more calories than three plain classic wings. If you eat half a cup, log half: about 160 calories and 1g carbs. Skip the fries, which are a high-carb side in the guide, and avoid honey mustard dip, which lists 18g carbs per cup.
Complete orders, counted
| Order | Calories | Total carbs | Net carbs | Protein |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Original Hot classic + 5 celery, no dip | 910 | 1.5g | 0.5g | 101g |
| 10 Original Hot classic + 5 celery + ranch | 1,230 | 3.5g | 2.5g | 102g |
| 10 Lemon Pepper classic + ranch | 1,520 | 2g | 2g | 101g |
| 10 Garlic Parmesan classic + blue cheese + 5 celery | 1,540 | 15.5g | 14.5g | 105g |
| 10 Mango Habanero classic + ranch | 1,320 | 42g | 42g | 101g |
| 10 Plain boneless + ranch | 1,120 | 62g | 62g | 41g |
The difference between the first and last row is the point of this guide. Same restaurant, similar calories, but about 60g more carbs and less than half the protein once the order switches from classic to boneless.
How to order
- Choose classic (bone-in) wings. Do not accept a boneless substitution.
- Pick a flavor listed at 0g or 1g carbs per wing.
- Decide your wing count before ordering. Wingstop’s guide gives values per wing, so multiply.
- Add celery, not carrots or fries.
- Choose one dip and decide whether you will eat all of it.
- Drink water, unsweetened tea or a diet soda.
- Enter the order in our keto fast food calculator to see the full total.
Calories still matter
Classic wings are low in carbs but not low in calories. Ten Lemon Pepper wings list 1,200 calories before any dip. If you are watching energy intake, choose a 90-calorie flavor such as Plain, Original Hot or Cajun, order fewer wings, and use part of a dip cup.
